"Baggie" First Aid Kit Contents (in approximate order of importance) - recommended by Christopher Moore of the Emergency Training Institute

1 - "Bloodstopper" trauma dressing (with roller bandage)
1 - Shock/survival blanket
1 - Paramedic shears (specially made for cutting clothes off)
1 - Roll of 1" adhesive tape
1 - Pair of gloves (nitrile or heavy latex w/out powder)
1 - Safety pin (you probably will have room for two)
3 - Povidone-Iodine pads
1 - Pencil
1 - Paper
1 - Wilderness and Travel Medicine Book by Dr. Weiss (so you'll know what to do with the safety pin!)
3 - Band-Aids (regular cloth kind)
